Onchan combi also seal combination two title

Onchan and Castletown have progressed to the final of this year's Paul Henry Gold Cup competition.

It follows the semi-final stage of the competition last night (20 May) in which Onchan earned an extra-time 2-1 win away at Foxdale with Castletown 3-2 winners against Douglas High School Old Boys (Dhsob.).

The final will take place at 2.45pm this Sunday (26 May) at The Bowl in Douglas.

Elsewhere, Onchan's combination team were crowned champions of DPS Ltd. Combination Two with a game remaining after a 3-2 win over nearest challengers Douglas High School Old Boys.

Victory puts Onchan on 49 points after 19 games, five clear of Dhsob. with just the one league match left for both sides.

Later this week, those remaining combination two league games will see Foxdale host Douglas High School Old Boys with now-champions Onchan hosting Gymns with both games taking place tomorrow (22 May) at 6.30pm.

Meanwhile, Friday evening (24 May) sees the conclusion to this year's Manx Quality Sheds Hospital Cup competition with Laxey and Ramsey facing off at The Bowl that night from 7pm.
