It becomes the second team of its kind on the Island
Peel AFC has confirmed its launching a new pan-disability football team on the Island.
Working in partnership with QEII High School, the team is becoming the second of its kind available on Manx shores.
Sessions are taking place on Thursday each week, run by Peel AFC coach, Dave Chapman who's working alongside Isle of Man FA Disability Football Ambassador Pete Corkhill.
Speaking about the project, Mr Corkhill says this could be another big step forward for disability football here and that there are hopes to set up more teams like it in the north and south going forward:
Meanwhile, anyone interested in getting involved in the initiative as a volunteer or company or want to find out more information is invited to get in touch with the Isle of Man FA's Development Manager via email at simon.elson@isleofmanfa.com.
