Club secretary recognised for years of service
A long-term servant of Peel AFC has been awarded the freedom of the town.
The club's secretary, Colin Moore was presented with the Freedom of Peel by Chair of Peel Town Commissioners, Ray Harmer during a presentation held earlier this week.
In a short statement on the club's social media page, Mr Moore is thanking Peel AFC's committee for nominating him for 'such a prestigious honour', calling it a 'privilege' to have been part of the club for many years.
The Isle of Man Football Association is also congratulating Mr Moore on the accolade, describing him as a 'stalwart' of the club in addition to 'many voluntary roles' within the FA.
