Football: St George's AFC looking to appoint new manager

Decorated side was relegated from top flight last season

St George's AFC is looking to appoint a new first team manager.

The Douglas-based side - one of the most decorated in Manx football history - is inviting applications for the role ahead of preparations beginning for the 2025/26 season.

Along with leading the team in matches and training, the club is looking for someone who can 'scout and recruit new talent' and 'collaborate with club management on strategic planning.'

The 20-time league champions will play in Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 next season having been relegated from the Canada Life Men's Premier League in the previous campaign.

Also included in the club's honours to date are 15 Hospital Cup titles, 10 Isle of Man FA Cups, 12 Railway Cups, eight Woods Cup accolades as well as being five-time winners of the Paul Henry Gold Cup.
