Onchan also promoted to premier league
St Johns United have been confirmed as champions of Division 2 after a 3-3 draw at home to Foxdale last night (17 May).
It means the club finish with a four-point gap at the top of the table (59) over second-placed Onchan (55) who are also promoted to the Canada Life Men's Premier League for the next campaign.
Last night's result also means late heartbreak in the competition for St Johns' opponents on Tuesday evening, Foxdale, who also managed 55 points but finish in third on goal difference.
Elsewhere in Div 2 last night, Braddan ran out comfortable 7-1 winners at home to Governors Athletic; Pulrose United and Malew played out an entertaining 4-4 draw, and Castletown were awarded an away win against Douglas Athletic.
