Four in a row for Bacchas A

Vikings A women still hold 100 per cent record

The dominant force in Manx men's hockey are champions again.

That's after Bacchas A thrashed Ramsey A 10-0 to retain the PWC Men’s Premier League.

Hat-tricks from Andy Whiting, Craig Leece and Karl Moore, along with a David Whiting strike, set the party in full swing as they clinched a fourth straight title.

Vikings A put 13 past Castletown.

Steve Crowe led the rout with a four goal haul.

He was joined on the scoresheet by Tom Burrows (two), Tim Henderson (two), Macklin Wilson (two), Neil Crowe, Danny Williams and Steve Underwood.

Robin Masson, Danny Kniveton and Dan Stewart replied for battling Town.

Valkyrs A were held to a 2-2 draw against by Bacchas B, for whom Matt Greenbank scored twice.

In the Women’s Premier Division, Vikings A scored three quick goals to take command against Bacchas A.

Yet goals from Freya Duchars and Roxanne Alenxadria (two) had pulled them back level by the break.

However, there was to be no denying Vikings after Kim Carney, Sara Blackman, Louise Slater (penalty flick) and Zoe Crowe sealed an exciting 4-3 success.

Harlequins A saw off relegation rivals Castletown A 2-0, courtesy of strikes from Ali Hird and Rachael Middleton.
