Golf champs semi-finals this evening

Defending champions both make it through quarters

The lineups for the semi-finals of the both the men's and ladies' golf championships are now known.

It's after the quarter-finals for both took place at Douglas Golf Club yesterday evening.

Defending men's champion Paul Lowey, Mark Harrison, Liam Cowin and Jamie Arneil all made it through.

In the ladies' quarters, Shirley Price (the defending champion), Kayleigh Dawson, Breeshey Jansen and Lynda Simpson were victorious.

The semi-finals, to be played this evening, are as follows:

Paul Lowey vs Mark Harrison

Liam Cowin vs Jamie Arneil

Kayleigh Dawson vs Shirley Price

Breeshey Jansen vs Lynda Simpson

According to the Isle of Man Golf website, play starts at 4.30pm for the men and 4.50 pm for the ladies.
