
Billy Harris clinched the PokerStars Senior Tennis Championship on Saturday afternoon with a straight sets victory over battling opponent Jamie Teare.
The Island number one geared up for the forthcoming NatWest Island Games with a 6/3, 6/2 victory at Albany Tennis Club.
Teare had beaten defending champion Marc Chinn in Friday night’s semi-finals.
In the women’s semi-finals, 15-time winner Karen Faragher saw off the challenge of Lucy Kerr in three sets.
She’ll now meet defending champion Laura Feely who was a straight sets winner over Katie Harris.
The final of the women’s singles is at 2pm on Sunday.
