Former junior island international Danny Hattersley has moved on loan from Stockport County to fellow Conference Premier side Southport for the remainder of the season.
The former Castletown striker is currently struggling County’s top scorer with 10 goals from 35 appearances, but has not featured in the last three matches under the Edgely Park outfit’s new manager Darije Kalezi.
Hattersley, who is nominated for the Under-21 Sportsman of the Year award at Thursday’s Isle of Man Sport Awards, will join up with a Southport outfit that currently sits four points and four places higher in the Conference Premier table.
The 20-year-old could make his debut if selected for the Merseysiders away at Ebbsfleet United on Saturday.
