Hegarty joins Top Gun Racing

Privateer champ sets new goals

The current T.T. Privateer champion Dan Hegarty has joined Top Gun Racing for T.T. 2017.

He will ride the new Honda Fireblade SP2 and a CBR 600 machines.

Hegarty had four top twenty finishes at T.T. 2016 including 11th in both the Superstock and Senior races.

His fastest lap of the Mountain Course is now 128.431mph making him the 25th fastest rider in history.

Hegarty also finished on the podium at the Southern 100 and had a win at the Bob Smith Spring Cup meeting at Oliver's Mount in Scarborough.
