Report by Ben Cunningham:

League action takes a break this week and we see the semi-finals of the cup, plate and bowl competitions.

In the Ladies Cup, defending champions, Castletown A will look to book their place in finals day when they play Vikings A whose season hasn’t gone the way they would have liked but could they cause a cup upset and knock out the defending champions?

The other semi-final sees Valkyrs A - who are having a great season so far play - Harlequins A who will look to get one over the westerners.

In the Men's Cup, Vikings A - who needed penalty flicked to get pass Harlequins A in the first round - play Castletown A who will be happy with their season so far.

In the Ladies Plate, two very close matches are ahead in this competition - Valkyrs B - defending champions - face Ramsey A who have been one of their closes rivals in the league in Ladies Division One.

Elsewhere, Vikings B play Bacchas B who did beat Vikings B recently in the league.

In the Men's Plate, the top two in Men's Division One face off as league leaders, Bacchas B face Ramsey A who sit second in that division - this is a match that looks close and could go to penalty flicks to determine the outcome.

The other semi final sees the bottom two in Men's Division One meet as bottom-of-the-table, Castletown B play Harlequins B just above them.

In the Ladies Bowl, Vikings C play Castletown D in match that looks close between two evenly-matched sides and the other tie in this round sees Valkyrs C play Ramsey B.

In the Men's Bowl, Bacchas Colts meet Vikings C and Bacchas C - who are battling hard at the top of the Men's Division Two - play Harlequins C.

If any games are level at full time they will go straight to penalty flicks to determine the winner.
