Hockey: Schedule confirmed for 2026 cup finals

Six trophies on offer across two days of matches later this month

The traditional end to the Isle of Man hockey season will take place across two days later this month.

The Manx Hockey Association has confirmed the 2026 cup finals weekend will be held across Friday, 23 April and Saturday, 24 April at the NSC in Douglas.

On the evening of day one (24 April) there will be a double-header which involving the finals of both the Ladies Bowl and Ladies Cup.

The remaining four final showdowns - the Ladies Plate, Men's Bowl, Men's Cup and Men's Plate - will all be held the following day (25 April).

Kicking off the finals weekend on the Friday, the Ladies Bowl will see Vikings C take on Ramsey B at 7pm - the latter of those two sides went on to win Ladies Division Two whilst Vikings C finished bottom of the standings.

After that at 8.30pm will be the Ladies Cup final between the Island's top two women's squads this campaign as Castletown A - newly-crowned back-to-back Ladies Premier League champions - take on the ladies top flight runners-up, Valkyrs A.

On Saturday, 25 April, the action gets underway from 11.05am with the Ladies Plate final between Ladies Division One winners, Valkyrs B and their nearest challengers in that league this season, Bacchas B.

Following on from that will be the first of the men's finals - specifically, the Men's Bowl final - as Men's Division Two winners, Bacchas C face Vikings C at 12.35pm.

At 2.05pm, the Men's Cup showdown will commence between Men's Premier League champions, Bacchas A and Douglas-based rivals, Vikings A.

The cup finals schedule will then conclude with the Men's Plate final at 3.35pm which sees Men's Division One winners, Bacchas B pitted against Castletown B.
