Move follows two years with Honda Racing
Ian Hutchinson has returned to a familiar place for the upcoming road racing season - whenever that will be able to start.
He has today confirmed he has rejoined the TAS Racing team, who will compete as SYNETIQ BMW Motorrad when competition resumes.
It means Hutchinson returns to the team - formerly known as Tyco BMW – that he achieved great success with in 2016 and 2017 seasons.
TT victories in the 2017 Superbike and the 2016 and 2017 Superstock races were accompanied by two further podiums in the 2016 Superbike and Senior races.
Those wins took his number of Mountain Course victories to 16.
But the 2017 TT also saw him suffer a broken leg in the Senior.
That was then followed by a difficult two-year spell with the Honda Racing team.
