Inspectors to evaluate venues and infrastructure
The Isle of Man will learn more about its bid to host the 2029 Island Games later this month.
That's according to the Education, Sport & Culture Minister, after the Island officially launched its case to hold the games in six years' time during this year's event in Guernsey in July.
Inspectors from the International Island Games Association (IIGA) will visit Manx shores this month to look at venues and infrastructure with a decision on the bid expected in 2024.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Mannin Line this week, Julie Edge is optimistic about the Isle of Man's chances of securing the games:
Rugby: Bevan Rodd on bench for England's opening Six Nations match
MGP 26: A new Quayle set for the start line
Football: Douglas Royal face Peel in Floodlit Cup Final clash
Hockey: Three wins for Island sides in England Championships
