Defeat to professional side no disgrace
Hundreds braved the freezing cold last night to witness the Isle of Man’s 2-0 defeat to professional side Derry City at the Bowl.
A goal late on in either half gave the League of Ireland outfit the win, with Aidy Delap and Patrick McClean on target for the Candystripes.
Isle of Man manager Paul Jones was using the game as part of his preparations ahead of an inter-island football tournament in Anglesey this summer.
