Team being managed by former TT competitor, Derek Sheils
Manx TT competitor, Jamie Cringle will compete for the Cosmic Racing team at this year's Isle of Man TT Races.
The 28-year-old will take on the Snaefell Mountain Course on BMW M1000RR machinery - prepared by PHR Performance - in the Senior, Superstock and Superbike races.
His efforts will be overseen by multiple Irish road racing winner and former TT competitor, Derek Sheils who will have a managerial role in the team.
After making his TT debut in 2022, Cringle was a late call-up to the Bathams Racing squad during last year's event in place of the injured Craig Neve.
On this move, Cringle says: "It’s a massive opportunity for me, having support from Derek and team behind Cosmic Racing gives me a real platform to push on in the big bike races.
"Each year I’ve improved at the TT, the goal now is to keep building lap speed and move further up the leaderboard."
Elsewhere, Sheils contested the TT between 2013 and 2022, during which time he accrued 11 top-20 finishes with a best result of 11th position in the opening Supersport race in 2019.
He adds: "Jamie has shown steady progression since his debut, and he’s proven he can deliver strong, consistent rides.
"With the BMW package from PHR Performance, we believe we have the right tools to make another step forward."
The 2026 Isle of Man TT Races are scheduled to take place from Monday, 25 May until Saturday, 6 June.
