Joe Yeardsley aiming for TT debut in 2024

Manxman broke records this year at MGP and Pre-TT Classic

Manx racer Joe Yeardsley says his main aim for the new season will be to make his Isle of Man TT Races debut in 2024.

The Island competitor recently announced he's ending this season early to spend time with his family and concentrate on work commitments after a successful Manx Grand Prix last month.

As a newcomer at this year's MGP, Yeardsley went on to win the Senior MGP Race, setting a new lap record of 122.051mph in the process.

He'd also led the Junior MGP contest two days earlier on 26 August before retiring with mechanical issues mid-race.

Prior to that race meeting, he'd also set a new benchmark on the Billown Course during the Pre-TT Classic Road Races on 28 May in the Post Classic Senior Superbike Race.

On board the Mistral Racing Kawasaki, Yeardsley set a new lap record in the class of 106.535mph to narrowly edge out Jamie Coward to first plcae.

Taking to social media, Yeardsley is thanking Team ILR, Mistral Classic Race Team, his family and supporters for helping him achieve a 'childhood dream' of being an MGP winner.
