
A badly swollen knee could rule Manx snowboardcrosser Zoe Gillings out of the final round of the World Cup in Italy this weekend.
She sustained the injury at the penultimate round at Stoneham in Canada when a French competitor ploughed into her with her knee taking the full force of the board.
Zoe has also had her travel plans delayed after a heavy snow storm closed Montreal Airport meaning she missed the first day of training in Italy.
According to Zoe's blog, she is unable to bend her leg more than 90 degrees so could struggle to make tomorrow's qualification and racing.
