A Liberal Vannin candidate in next month's House of Keys general election says the party has a programme for government, if the people want it.
Financial analyst and university lecturer Chris Thomas moved to the Isle of Man a decade ago and is standing in West Douglas.
On Mandate today (Thursday), he denied Lib Van candidates were required to sign an agreement to say they wouldn't take a government position if elected to the Keys.
He said the emphasis was on the party forming the government from its elected representatives (listen to audio file below):
Five candidates are currently chasing the two West Douglas seats, the others being outgoing MHKs Geoff Corkish and John Shimmin, and challengers Martin Moore and John Skinner.
