Andrew Baker rowing from Portugal to Barbados
Jet skiing might have been making headline news lately but one man is making waves of his own.
As we speak, Andrew Baker is rowing across the Atlantic from Portugal to Barbados by himself.
He set off on the solo mission from Lagos on the 8 December and is aiming to cover the 4000-nautical-mile-feat to Barbados within 90 days.
He's also raising money and awareness for the Manx Wildlife Trust, Reach IOM, and Whistleblowers UK in the process.
Rhian Evans spoke to Andrew's girlfriend Lucy Partington:
You can track Andrew's progress at reachintotheblue.com.
If you'd like to donate to his cause, you can do so here.
