Corinthians captain was a lifelong supporter
Middlesbrough supporters are being asked to pay tribute to a Manx fan of the club at their next home match.
The death of Corinthians captain Louis Thornton rocked Manx football last weekend, after the 26-year-old was found dead in a hotel room in Liverpool early on Saturday morning.
He had been due to go watch Boro against Everton with a group of friends later that day.
Those attending their match against Tottenham on Saturday are being asked via an online campaign to stand and applaud in the 26th minute.
