The Liberal Vannin Party's general election candidate in South Douglas believes the LVP could see as many as five or six of its members gaining seats in September's general election.
It will be Kate Beecroft's third attempt to get into the House of Keys, in a third different constituency.
She was unsuccessful in Middle at the last general election in 2006, and again in last year's East Douglas by-election.
Those setbacks aside, Mrs Beecroft believes public opinion is turning in favour of the 'Lib Vanns' (listen to audio file below):
Three candidates have so far declared their intention to contest the two South Douglas seats, the others being sitting members David Cretney and Bill Malarkey.
