Manx athletes land eight medals in Lancashire

Andy Fox reports on Blackburn action

Isle of Man athletes won eight medals at the Lancashire Cross-Country Championships at Blackburn yesterday.

All clubs had representatives in action and many gained selection to represent Lancashire at the English Championships later in the season.

Two golds were won - Andy Fox in his debut in the 60 and over class and the Senior Ladies team who beat Blackburn Harriers by just two points.
