Manx Classic 2008 - entries open

Entries have opened for this year’s International Manx Classic, which will be staged over three days in April.

The event, organised by the Manx Motor Racing Club, will see vintage cars mixing with modern models as they tackle three demanding hill climbs.

Using the same format as last year, competitors will tackle the Bray Hill section on Thursday, April 17.

The following day they will head south to race up The Sloc, before the action moves to the north on Saturday for a 1.37 mile climb up another section of the TT Course, Lhergy Frissell.

Reinstated in 2006 after a three-year absence and with the support of Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander, the event has already attracted a number of inquiries and, with numbers restricted, anyone thinking of entering is urged to do so ahead of the closing date of March 22.

The number of classes has been streamlined slightly and entry forms and full regulations, along with more information, can be downloaded from www.manxmotorracing.com
