High numbers recorded for Ard Whallan races
Today sees the opening round of the Callin Wild Manx Fell League, with a large number of local runners getting back in action.
Round one is taking place on Saturday at Ard Whallan, with runners encouraged to turn up early to avoid the crowds.
Participants are being reminded to wear their race numbers on their chests and must bring their kits to registration which opens at 12.15pm.
The race starts at 1.30pm.
