Manx Fell Runners urge caution over exercise in countryside

Future events dependent on Covid situation

The committee of the Manx Fell Runners met virtually recently to discuss the current situation regarding the lockdown and future fixtures.

The Snaefell and the Tholtans race has been postponed as it was scheduled to take place within the present lockdown.

No new date has been announced as it’s impossible to predict when it can be rescheduled.

Competitors are being urged not to recce the new route and to take great care if they are taking their daily exercise on the fells.

The next race on the calendar is the James Coulson Laxey event on Sunday 18 April and the committee say they will let everyone know as soon as possible if the race can go ahead or not.
