Organisation says rider will be 'greatly missed by all'
Tributes are being paid by the Manx Grand Prix following the death of former race winner Paddy Reid.
The organisation has shared an update from the rider's family confirming the 1973 Senior MGP victor died earlier this month on Saturday, 8 February following a short battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
The Manx Grand Prix says Mr Reid - who was a guest of honour at the event's centenary year in 2023 - will be 'greatly missed by all.'
His funeral is scheduled to take place at North Wiltshire Crematorium on Thursday, 27 February from 2pm.
Those from the Island are welcome to attend but are asked to inform the family if they intend to do so - a web link will also be made available for those wishing to attend remotely.
The family also requests if anyone would like to pay a tribute to Mr Reid to make a donation to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
