The Hornets beat Ramsey B 33-29 at Ballafletcher in the Ravenscroft Manx Plate and guaranteed themselves a top two finish and a home semi-final. Their opponents and the line up of the other semi won’t be clear until the result of the Ramsey B v Western Vikings game scheduled for 23^rd April, is known.

First half tries from Danny Howard, Jared May and Ross Quayle, plus two Darragh Pilkington conversions saw Ramsey leading 19-12 at the half time interval. Vagas struck back early in the second half and three unanswered tries gave them a 26-19 lead with ten to play. Jake Richmond pulled one back for Ramsey before Matt Rockwell went over for Vagas to seal the win. Danny Howard bagged his second of the match late in the game to ensure Ramsey picked up two bonus points.

At QE2, Emerging Nomads took an early lead when Tony Quinn raced in from sixty metres and Mark Young converted. Vikings hit back through Morgan Armstrong Paton, Harry Raven, Zac Novak and Toby Poole-Wilson and led 22-7 at half time. In the second half Vikings accelerated away. Kyle Martin and Harry Goodwin went over, Harry Raven completed a hat trick and there were also tries from Charlie Henthorn and Harry Hewson. In among all those Josh Smith pulled one back for Nomads for some consolation.
