Partington takes men's title, team awards also won
Manx athlete Tom Partington tasted individual success at British level at the weekend, and team titles were won as well.
He won the Race Walking Association's National 10km Championships in Coventry in a time of 45:21.
Isle of Man competitors were somewhat dominant in the men's race, with Tom's fellow Manx Harriers Adam Cowin (49:09) and Gianni Epifani (50:39) finishing second and fourth, respectively.
Manx Harriers also put in a strong showing in the women's race.
Hannah Hunter was fifth (57:14), Marie Jackson was eighth (61:17), Rebecca Greatbatch tenth (62:59), Nicola Raven 13th (65:20) and Louise Hollings 14th (65:32).
The performances meant both the men's and women's teams were crowned inter-county and national champions.
