McGuinness pays tribute to F1 commentator Murray Walker

Describes him as a 'huge TT fan'

TT rider John McGuinness is among the sporting personalities paying tribute to Formula One commentator Murray Walker. 

It was confirmed last night that the 97-year-old had died. 

As well as his love of four wheeled motorsport he was a fan of the TT races – first commentating on the event for BBC in 1949. 

Taking to Twitter McGuinness described him as a ‘great enthusiast, joy to listen to and huge TT fan’.
