Manx Men's team takes gold
Manx cyclists took home a trio of medals at the Island Games last night.
Nick Corlett (01:47:54.72) placed second in the Men's Mountain Bike Cross Country event, missing out on gold by just a fraction of a second to Guernsey rider James Roe (01:47:54.29).
Elliot Baxter (01:47:58.83) followed Nick over the line to score a bronze.
The squad - comprised of the boys plus Daniel Curtis, Lee Gale and Alexander Rockwell - earned the overall Manx Men's team a gold.
Elliot spoke to Jo Pack after what was a nail-biting climax:
Rugby: Bevan Rodd on bench for England's opening Six Nations match
MGP 26: A new Quayle set for the start line
Football: Douglas Royal face Peel in Floodlit Cup Final clash
Hockey: Three wins for Island sides in England Championships
