DC United pick Doyle in SuperDraft
Manx footballer Liam Doyle has been picked up by Major League Soccer team D.C United in the MLS SuperDraft.
He was previously captain of the Ohio State Buckeyes and was the 67th pick in the draft.
Doyle has been recognised for his performances on the pitch and was awarded the Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year in 2015.
The centre back has started all 45 games he's featured in for Ohio State since arriving two years ago; scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
