Nathan Harrison to replace Johnston at Manx Grand Prix

Manxman makes mountain course return to deputise for injured rider

Nathan Harrison will make his return to the Snaefell Mountain Course this month as he steps in for fellow rider, Lee Johnston at the 2023 Manx Grand Prix.

Manxman Harrison will ride the Ashcourt Racing Honda RC45 in the Classic Superbike Race as Johnston continues his recovery from an incident at this year's North West 200 in May.

Elsewhere, Harrison himself missed out on this year's TT and Southern 100 Road Races having been injured in a separate crash at the North West 200.

Having won both the Junior and Senior MGP races in 2019, Harrison made his debut in the Classic Superbike race last year on board the Greenall Racing Kawasaki, finishing second behind and setting the fastest lap of the race at 126.326mph.

This year's Classic Superbike contest will take place on Monday, 28 August at 2.15pm across four laps.
