The league starts at the end of January
A new mixed league has been launched by Isle of Man Netball today (14 January).
Called the 'Performance League', it's made up of 37 players from both the Island's women's and men's national squads.
Four teams will compete for the title, Celtic Coast Lightning, Mannin Magic, Manx Mavericks and Vannin Vipers.
The competition will take place over a number of weekends - 24 and 31 January, 28 February and 7 March, 4 and 18 April.

Ashley Hall (Captain), James Arneil, Sara Collings, Lexa Hattersley, Rob Mason, David Poyser, Chloe Schofield, Chloe Swales and Nathan Wood.
Rachel Johnstone (Captain), Pete Corrin, Ellan Charmer, Jonny Hastie, Gemma Kirkham, Zoe Kirkham, Zahed Miah, Adam Shuttleworth and Nan Williams.
Vannin Vipers
Paige McQuarrie (Captain), Stephen Mulhern, Becca Cooke, Kate Doran, Zac Irving, Torryn Jones, Kat Keeling, Ben Sinclair and Natalie Swales.
Games will be played at the Round House between 6-9pm.
Entry is free, however, seats are limited.
