Race held in south of the Island
Jamie Newton won the Syd Quirk Half-Marathon, which took place in the south of the Island on Sunday.
He finished in one hour, fifteen minutes, just over a minute ahead of second-placed Michael Garrett.
Stuart Christian was third, a further four minutes back.
Sarah Webster was the first woman to finish, coming eighth overall in a 1:23:18.
Meanwhile, the walk was won by Adam Cowin (1:53:53), who finished almost ten minutes ahead of Samuel Fletcher.
Hannah Hunter was third, finishing in 2:04:42
