Facility available again, ten months after floods
The all-weather pitch at the National Sports Centre opened on Monday.
It was destroyed in the severe flooding last December - it's the final facility at the NSC to reopen.
The floodlights have been upgraded and there are two warm-up areas - covered spectator seating and dug-outs will follow in the next few weeks.
Head of Sport Paul Bridson says the sand covering the blue playing surface will bed in with usage and some rain:
