Old Boys reach last four

Old Boys edged out Corinthians to reach the semi-finals of the Craig's Heartstrong Foundation Hospital Cup on Sunday.

Goals from Gary Quirk and Chris Coxon fired them to a 2-1 success at Ballafletcher.

Kane Riding was on target for the home side.

Elsewhere, Marown edged out promotion chasing Castletown in a penalty shoot-out after they shared four goals at the Stadium in the first round.

Braddan demolished Douglas Royal 9-0 with Andy Glover hitting four.

In JCK Division Two, Gymns became only the second team to take points off leaders Douglas Athletic in an exciting 3-3 draw at Tromode.

Max Stokoe hit a double for the hosts.
