Old foes clash in Hockey

Old rivals Bacchas "A" and Valkyrs "A" meet in the top fixture in the Men's Hockey Premier League.

Champions Bacchas "A" have won all nine matches so far this campaign to sit two points ahead of their western rivals.

Valkyrs only defeat was a 5-2 loss to Bacchas when they felt they got the rough end of a few decisions.

It's a must win game for Valkyrs as a Bacchas victory will almost guarantee the Tromode team will take the title

In Football, Premier League top side St. George's continue their quest for unprecedented back-to-back grand slams with a visit to fifth place St. John's.

Laxey are second just two points behind, but they have played two games more.

They go to Castletown who still haven't pulled clear of the relegation issue.
