After two stage victories at the Tour of Qatar last week, another big event for Mark Cavendish starts later (Tuesday).
It's the first of six stages at the 2012 Tour of Oman.
Cavendish, who finished sixth overall in Qatar, will be competing against the likes of Fabian Cancellara, former world champion Tom Boonen and Andy Shleck.
