It's 2011, a general election year, and the Liberal Vannin Party has confirmed its second candidate so far.
Semi-retired transport manager Pat Ayres will contest the seat in the constituency of Ayre later this year.
Mr Ayres, who is 55 and lives in Ramsey, is the deputy chairman of the party.
He's the second candidate the party has announced, two months after backing Juan Cottier who will stand in Middle in September.
