Development XI defeated at Mullen-e-Cloie
Peel and St John's went to the top of the Weekend Premiership League after they beat their top-of-the-table rivals, the Development XI, yesterday.
The two teams met at Mullen-e-Cloie and the Development XI decided to bat after winning the toss.
The Development XI finished on 117 all out in the 35th over.
PSJ quickly overtook the 117 total in the 17th over, as they won by eight wickets.
Cronkbourne welcomed Valkyres to Tromode on a beautiful sunny Saturday.
Valkyres soon slumped to 37 for 3, but rallied to finish on 114.
Their bowlers and fielders then kept it tight against Cronkbourne's batsmen, and Valkyres won by 25 runs.
On Saturday, Ramsey were put into bat after Finch Hill won the toss and a good effort was put in by their batsmen.
They finished on 191 for 8 from their 40 overs.
Finch Hill, thanks in large part to another century from George Burrows, reached the total in the 25th over with seven wickets to spare.
