A title won and comp personal bests beaten in Solihull
There's been success in recent days for a trio of Manx powerlifters who got the chance to showcase their skills in a national event.
Teagan Lindsay, Issy Morris and Julian Wilson represented Manx Powerlifting at the Gymshark British Junior & Sub Junior Championships on Solihull from 26-30 April.
Competing in her first ever British champions, Teagan Lindsay took 1st place in the 52kg sub junior class, lifting a total of 227.5kg and a 17.5kg competition personal best.
Meanwhile, Issy Morris, taking part in the 52kg sub junior category took third place in her class, managing a 215kg total and a 27.5kg competition personal best.
Raising personal benchmarks during the weekend was Wilson who - in the 105kg junior category - who managed a 700kg total with a competition personal best of 50kg, with his performance also including a 300kg deadlift.
