Weather fails to lift
Tonight's practice session for the Festival of Motorcycling was ultimately cut short, after the weather failed to improve.
It was announced earlier that conditions were getting better around the Mountain Course, after Monday's meeting was called off.
Course inspectors decided to go ahead with the qualifying sessions for the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT at 6pm.
Roads did close for a short time, but are now open again.
It is hoped the outlook will improve in time for tomorrow's planned qualifying sessions, which are due to get underway at 6pm.
