Over 1,100 people to be involved in five events across two days
A record number of entries will take part in the one of the Isle of Man's major cycling events being held this weekend.
Over 1,100 riders of all ages and abilities will be involved in Gran Fondo Isle of Man taking place this Saturday and Sunday (22-23 July) with five races/events across the two days.
They range from the family-friendly Minisculo Fondo around Mooragh Park in Ramsey up to the main event - the 137km Gran Fondo - on the Sunday which this year will be a qualifying round for the UCI Gran Fondo World Series.
Event organiser, Paul Phillips, says seeing the event grow again as both a competitive and social occasion is very encouraging:
The event will involve a series of road closures across the Island during Saturday and Sunday - details of those are available HERE.
