Douglas RUFC remain winless in Regional 2 North West despite leading the match at half time

Douglas took on Widnes in their second round game at Port-e-Chee and made a strong start as they went in at the break 13-3 up.

However, the visitors fought back in the second 40 as they scored two unanswered tries and won the fixture 15-13.

Meanwhile for Vagabonds, their early season struggles also continued at Orrell in the Counties 3 AMD Lancs/Cheshire.

They were edged out 25-20 after they let a six point lead with 20 minutes to go slip as the home side came from behind to take the victory.
