At the Mooragh Park, league leaders Ramsey Blues beat Castletown 59-22. Blues skipper Connor Casey ran in a hat trick of tries, Dan Richmond and Craig Long bagged two apiece and there were also scores from Dale Radcliffe, Chris Clague and on his senior debut, Luke Ward. Radcliffe added three conversions and Richmond one. Nick Wild crossed twice for Town in response with Robin Webster and Ross Quayle also scoring. Elliott Burnett converted one.

At QE2 Nomads Whites kept the pressure on Ramsey with 49-13 victory against Western Vikings who actually led after twenty-five minutes. Harry Goodwin’s try converted by Luke Oldfield gave Vikings the lead but was soon cancelled out by one at the other end from Finn McGregor converted by George Callister. Goodwin then added two penalties to put Vikings in front again before the direction of traffic became one-way. Tony Quinn ran in two for Nomads with other scores coming from Max Fairbairn, Harry Brereton, Josh Smith and Will Taisia, plus Callister knocking over all six conversions.

In the final game Ramsey’s Reds beat Eastern Barbarians 82-0 at Port-e-Chee to keep them in the frame at the sharp end of the table.
