Double delight for Douglas
Nathan Knights was a hat-trick hero as Douglas Celts clinched a double on Saturday.
They added the Shimmin Wilson Manx Plate to the Manx Shield they won earlier in the campaign.
Three tries from Knights and one from Carl Convroy, plus two conversions from Max Morley-Green, sealed a 24-12 success over Western Vikings at the Mooragh Park.
Vikings put up a spirited showing and were level at 7-7 at the break.
Paul Wheeldon and Sam Radcliffe tries, and a Ryan Burke conversion, kept them in the hunt but Douglas could not be denied.
