Former Manx resident in 15-man lineup for Saturday's test match
Former Island resident Bevan Rodd is set to start for England in their latest test match this weekend.
The rugby union star and former Buchan School student is named in the starting 15 to face Japan in Tokyo on Saturday (22 June) at 6.50am UK time.
He's one of three Sale Sharks competitors included in the 23-man setup - he'll be joined by teammates Tom Roebuck and Tom Curry who are named as substitutes.
Over the last twelve months, Rodd helped England to Rugby World Cup bronze across September and October 2023.
In February this year he signed a new contract to remain with Sale Sharks until 2027 and was also crowned 2023 Isle of Man Sportsman of the Year in the same month.
