S100 Club - Talks ongoing over Pre-TT and Post-TT Races

2023 schedules for both currently overlap with new TT plans

The Southern 100 Club says talks are ongoing over the Pre-TT and Post-TT Races on the Billown Course for 2023.

It comes after details of the TT schedule for next year were announced this morning (25 October).

Among the headline changes, the Senior TT Race will be held on the final Saturday of the racing fortnight (10 June).

In previous years, the Post-TT races have been held in the South of the Island on this day during the racing festival.

The 2022 Post-TT races were called off after this year's Senior TT was moved to the Saturday due to poor weather.

Meanwhile, the Pre-TT Classic Road Races are traditionally held on the weekend before the TT programme commences.

As it stands, the 2023 Pre-TT meeting is due to take place on 26, 27 & 29 May - that final date would be the same day the new TT schedule on the Mountain Course gets underway.

Meanwhile, the 2023 Post-TT Races are currently scheduled to take place on Saturday, 10 June.
