Report by Peter Kelly:
The annual Skeet Medley Championship sponsored by Stan and Michael Cross was held at Meary Veg Santon in wet and windy conditions.
The first discipline was Skeet Doubles and junior Zac Bellhouse led the way on 22 with Michael Cross, Junior, Joe Faragher and Brian Faragher in equal-second place on 20.
The next discipline was Olympic skeet and we had a new leader in Michael Cross on 38 with Zac Bellhouse second on 36 and Joe Faragher third on 35.
The last discipline was ordinary English skeet and in C class we had Brian Kelly in second place on 41 with Cobus Van de Berg taking C class with 45 points.
In B class, Ted Kermeen was third on 39 with Will Rand taking second place on 45, but winning B class with 51 points was Liam Kirkpatrick.
It was tight in A class with Zac Bellhouse finishing on 55, but we had a tie for the Championship between Michael Cross and Joe Faragher on 56.
In the shoot off, Michael went first and hit all four targets but Joe missed one to hand the Championship to Michael by one point.
